Our topic was about Verbals, A verbal is a term that is formed from a verb and is used as a noun or modifier (adjective or adverb) rather than a verb in a phrase. Infinitives, gerunds (also known as -ing forms), and participles are examples of verbals (also known as -ing forms and -en forms). A verbal phrase is made up of a verb, its object, and any modifiers. There are 3 types of verbals. First is Gerunds, which are verbs with the suffix -ing that serve as nouns. The second is Infinitives, which are verbals that serve as nouns, adjectives, or adverbs (typically preceded by the particle to). The third is Participles, – which are adjectives that are formed from verbs. It uses the verb's participle (for example, selected) or its present participle (-ing form like caring).
The activities are easy and you can do them right away. I learned that verbal is a verb that serves as a noun, adjective, or adverb in another part of speech. It's also important because it helps us communicate with other people and it develops our language and also grammar. There's none I find difficult, the highlight of the blog is to know the 3 types of verbal.
