Quarter 3, Week 1 - Making Personal Opinion

 Our lesson was about Making Opinion. A viewpoint, attitude, value, judgment, or sentiment can all be expressed as an opinion. There is no such thing as true or untrue.Some people purposefully mislead others. It's worth noting that each is arguable. To put it another way, one can theoretically Discuss if you agree or disagree with a statement of opinion. There's a key Point in Making Personal. First is Informal writing, use I think and I believe to say what your opinion is, can also be used to express your opinions explicitly. Second is Academic writing, it is usual to give your opinion implicitly.

What did we do?

We do spelling and the words that we spell are Occurrence, Queue, Seize, Supersede, Questionnaire, Repetition, Sergeant, Tyranny, Bizarre, Bazaar. We also discuss one type of figure of speech and that is Proverb. I also know who's the author of  'The Purpose of Christmas' and he is Richard Duane Warren.

The activities are easy and you can do it right away. I learned that Explicit indicates something that is stated directly and clearly. Implicit indicates something that expressed indirectly or implied. There's none I find it difficult, the highlight of the blog is to understand and respect other people opinions.

PERFORMANCE TASK

1. I would say that, posting on Facebook is not really a big deal, because you just post what you want other people to see and you just expressing you're self. 

2. Personally, cyberbullying is not really good. It affects on physical and emotional well being of young people.

3. From my point of view, there's nothing wrong having pineapple on a pizza. Because we have different taste in food and it taste little bit of sweetness that's why people like pineapple on pizza.  

4. To my mind, it's your choice if you want to wear school uniform or just plain white t-shirt. Because other teachers or school stuff does not really care about what you wear as long it is appropriate. 

5. I have the feeling that, buying new phone every year is not good, cause you just spending a lot of money just because you want to keep up with the trends.

From my point of view, by trading rice from other country it just lowering the Economy of the Philippines. Significantly, it affects our agriculture and the economy. It seems to be that our farmers is not agree to Rice Trade Liberalization Law, because they only suffer more. For me, it's sad that other people are taking over their cultivated land and sometimes they even have to protest just to fight their grievances. I would say that, their income also decreases because other Filipino's buy imported rice, because it is much cheaper and affordable. It would probably be better, if we buy local rice because we can help our farmer's and our economy will grow better.
